So I have been scouring different sites, forums and manufacturers- having a hard time finding a few Steam Locomotive detail parts. Such as large sand boxes, generators-(The big Gen's on the smoke boxes) and reservoirs. (I think they are reservoirs, long cylindrical objects, high up on boilers running horizontal)
I have found several sites for smaller details, cab parts, tender additions etc but not having much luck in the way of the larger pieces that were Road Specific.
Originally, I was thinking of scratching them out, these objects have some pretty simple shapes and contours but I thought if there is something out there for a couple of bucks then it might be worth while and maybe save some time going that route. If not, something I can copy from perhaps.

EDIT. WHOOPS, I wrote generator, I believe they are Elesco feed water heaters. I have found some for the CB&Q mikes that may be adaptable to the Mallet. But that usually means it will cost more and basically be scratchbuilt by the time I get it to look right anyway. :)

Thanks, I've been poking around for a week or so, trying to find parts that may look convincing enough for my Mallet. I found some nice parts for the Kato Mikado, some of which may work out nice, others would get tossed into the jibby box. The kit allows for one of either two variations.

Basically, I'd be adding parts #1, 25, 2 and a few other parts that make sense in this application.

^ Here is their link to a page that shows proper orientation of parts. I guess the conversion parts justify a Kato Mike, right? :D

The GHQ kit should provide the parts you need for the Mallet. Things like air reservoirs and Elesco feedwater heaters were fairly standard, just the placement differed.
