Ive been into Model railroading since i was a pup,but we have always payied people to build our goods. Now i am moving into a condo. And planing on doing a self layout. How do i keep the continuity following? I had a O scale on the floor, and after so many feet it would dye out.

Thanks!

Continuity, like the electrical connections on the track? Just run feeder wires to the track at intervals (some people run feeders to each piece of track), from a heavier-gauge bus wire connected to the power pack.

I'm guessing your track/wheels were a bit dirty as well; I've run N scale trains four or five feet from the hook up without any issue.

Yep, you need power feeders. I solder all my track connections as well. I run power feeders about every 10ft. or so. You create a wire bus that all the feeders connect to. Then just connect your bus to your DCC command station or DC power power supply.
