Niagara Gorge Railroad

Hi Eric , The view along the Niagara River is breathtaking. When I was younger I can remember when they were tearing up the rails. My Dad and I use to spear fish for Sturgeonalong thelower banks and they would through the ties down for people to burn. They smoked and stunck like all but it was a warm fire that lasted . Here's another pic of the Trolley riding tjhe Niagara Gorge Railroad OLDGETTYSK Oh I forgot to tell you that the American and Canadian Niagara Falls empty into this great river. PS. just a little more info A Rock Slide on September 17 , 1935 ended this railroads run

Wow, that's an unusual outcropping and cool background info. Like so many things around this area, it's a shame the line met it's demise instead of being preserved. Thanks for posting about it.
