Hopeless Santa Fe nut.
Just thought I'd post a couple pics from our recent trip on Amtrak for all you fans of passenger rail.

The first is a nice shot of the motive power for the eastbound Southwest Chief arriving Flagstaff, Arizona on June 29th, 2006. This consist had 2 sleeping cars and 3 coaches with 3 materials handling cars bringing up the rear, in addition to the heritage baggage car and of course dining, transition sleeper, and lounge car.

This pic is another shot of the same train from back near the coaches, but taken with the zoom. I'm not the greatest photographer mind you, but I thought it was a cool shot.

This shot is of the Northbound Coast Starlight as we stopped in Klamath Falls, Oregon on June 22, 2006. The shot includes much of the train from the very aft end of the baggage car rearward. It was a gorgeous day!

Thats all for now! Hope you like 'em!
