Still in the laying foam and forming the hillsides at the moment. Updates to come as things progress. I was doing N scale and bought another table and went back to HO scale. Can ya blame me?
Looks like high quality work so far!
As for N scale vs. HO scale, I love N scale, but I can't see very well and my hands don't work as good as they use to, other than that it's great!
My favorite is O gauge
Thanks for sharing your work with us.
2 of my custom locomotives courtesy of Jim from Delano Custom Models...
Athearn SD45 Reading #7604 Tsunami sound, full detailed, weathered and LED lighting
Kato GP35 CSX #4420 Full detailed, weathered, LED lighting, sound decoder (the one slips my mind at the moment)
Jim's pro pics sent to me by email
Great work! I really like the CSX locomotive, but I am slightly biased.
Jim does amazing work! I have been working more on the layout today. I'll try to have some more pics up tonight
Very nice engines and the paint work is exceptional!
Looks like you're off to a good start with a couple of really nice engines to boot! One thing that got my attention...........the distance from the track to the "Grand Canyon" that lurks just to the edge. If there's a derailment, you may end up saying goodbye to one of those nice engines.
Looks good. I like your Iron Maiden poster. Gives me piece of mind.
CSX and Iron maiden in one thread?!
You need to post more often!

There will be a wall so to speak on that side with backdrop and the other side will have a smaller wall that will protect it from any back to the future reenactments

That poster is from 1986 when Somewhere in Time (my favorite album) came out. I am 25 and have been on every tour starting with Brave New World except for Dance of Death in 2003. Have some Eddie tattoos under construction too

Hey young man! First of all great to hear about a man your age with such great model railroad skills!
Secondly I am an old head banger. I bought the first Iron Maiden LP without ever hearing it. I liked the cover so much I had to hear the band. The only thing better then the cover was the music inside, I was blown away. I will never forget hearing the first song, "Prowler" I had never heard anything like it, but when I heard "Running Free" I was hooked, that was my anthem! I have been a fan ever since. I never heard anything to match their blend of punk & metal
I saw them open for Judas Priest 4 times in 2 years in Baltimore and DC. I did see Bruce Dickenson too, they were headliners by then. They have done some great LPs but I don't know if they could ever duplicate the sound from the first 2 LPs. "Wrathchild" is another of my favorites. Trooper is another of my all time favorites. Number of the Beast is a classic LP. I could go on and on.
I found a couple of videos on YouTube for those who have not heard them before.

Hard rock or no rock!
Long live rock n roll!
Play it LOUD!
Killers is a favorite album of mine and those first two albums are so unique thanks to Harris' bass lines. Those things stood out more then than any other Maiden album to follow. They'll have a new album out this year. Number 16
My son has a cmx that I run once in a while. Layout has a nice start to it.
