Hi All:
I haven't postrd before but thought I would show progress on my new layout. It is based on Kato's unitrack Colorado Western track plan. I have a HO gauge shelf layout; this is my first N guage.
Looks like your doing a fine job with it.
I'll be kinda doing the same type of scenery on my n-scale layout with the blue foam.
Looking forward to seeing your progress.

Yeah, it's me Mike in Ruidoso, NM. I am trying to get into this forum. It seems unusually unfriendly and somehow related to other model rr forums. I posted something similiar on Trainboard.com. So I keep going round and round in circles. I hope that they don't throw me off here but their help is worthless.

Hi mike, and welcome aboard. What is the problem you're having with this forum? Anything we can help with? I can assure you this forum is not part of any other Model rail forum, it is related to our sister forums RailroadForums.com and SteamPreservation.Com clickable links in the header banner. A lot of members here belong to other forums and that isn't a problem with us. Stick around, join in the discussion threads, the hard and fast rule here is keep it friendly. If you don't get an answer to a question, maybe everyone else here is stumped for an answer to.

One thing I've noticed about this forum: if nobody has anything to say, nobody responds. But if they do, you'll get a good discussion. Takes some getting used to but it's a nice change.

Again, thanks. I had not discovered the CP menu. You will notice the Amtrak avitar. I just took an amtrack trip from Albuquerque to Wash. DC and back so why not. Fantastic trip; lots of ideas for my model RRs. Good Model RR shop in Old Alexandria.
