Finaly got this one painted and ready for some work out on the track. Ex EBT 2-8-2 seiko brass.Had to remotor this one as it was really noisy and didn't run very well but now runs very smooth and quiet, used my last in my stash sagami can motor 16mmx20mm fit perfect and doesn't hang out the cab like the original open frame motor.
That's a beautifully proportioned classic, Gary!
What is the most fascinating to me is the motion of the connecting rods and other linkage on the drive wheels.
Thanks Greg, the motion of the side rods and valve gear is always fun to watch. Just got an ho scale 2-6-6-2 that is in my " projects on the bench"
thread and it has alot of motion to watch, almost hypnotic.
