I am using 3 rail tubular track around the ceiling of the room. On one wall the track is a reasonable distance away from the wall, however on the opposite wall I ended up a little too close. In order to adjust this I need to move that track over about 1". I am thinking of cutting 1" out of one of the straight pieces on each end of the room, cutting out a 1" section between the ties and putting pins in the cut section. Have any of you had to do this to adjust your track? It seems to be an easy fix to me and a hacksaw is what I have to cut it with.

Thanks,
Paul O.

A hacksaw with very fine teeth might do it, I'd go with a cut off disc in a dremel or an Atlas razor saw tho.
