I made a short train out of some broken up junk.
Shouldn't have any problems going through the popular #4 turnouts.

I really like that SD-3-1/2 (half of an SD-7?

). Does it actually run? I have a tendency to run the opposite way with Mantua steam locomotives, (making 2-10-2's and 2-10-4's from Mikados), except for the rear half of an Athearn blue-box streamlined observation car that sits just inside a tunnel entrance that actually sits in front of a wall in my train room. The track leading to the "tunnel" branches off the main line, and is actually has a non-functioning turnout.
Ain't this hobby fun?
It doesn't run. It was a "dummy".
Too bad it doesn't run. It would make a nice under the Christmas Tree display. Like your imagination...

I’m thinking it wouldn't have any problems going through the unpopular #2 turnouts!
You'd wind up with a Geep (2-axle), but you might try a Stauton-drive truck from NW Shortline, if they still stock them. Be a kick to see it run!
