Hello all! I would like to share a few videos that I took at our club's (Fever River Railroad Freeport IL) open house a few weeks back. We run HO scale.

Here are several clips a Zepher with sound. This is not my train, it is another club member's:

Thanks alot for looking! I wish the quality could be better, but alot of these are close to 100 MB. They are AVI files. Does anyone know how I can get better quality and/or less Mega Bytes? Thanks a lot for viewing these vids and for any help that you can give. Also, let me know what you think. Thanks!

ADAM: Great videos... Don't bother about the quality, there's got to be always something left to guess....
The impression/atmosphere is , I think, the most important thing on a layout!?
On that part you and the clubmembers did/are doing a great job!

Thanks for the compliments guys! Glad you like the layout! I will have to tell the guys! Well, since you liked those I will post one that I took just a few nights ago.

Here we see my BN SD60M (Proto) pulling about 35 cars on the portable layout owned by the club:

A little on the dark side, but not bad for a digital camera lol! Enjoy.

reducing videos

If you use Windows movie maker you can import the clip and then whan you save it you have an option of how big you want the clip to be, I think .wma files are smaller than .avi but you would have to experimant on that one.

Nice videos by the way, if we all put some on You Tube we might get noticed as a hobby ??

I have several videos on there too
