Seeking reliable, reasonable DCC installer.

I am looking for recommendations for a reliable and fairly priced sound and DCC installer....preferably someone who can also supply the hardware as well. I have a mixture of new and old primarily Atlas and Athearn that need sound (LOK preferred) and/or dcc (prefer LOK or TCS).
Thanks!

Check out www.tonystrainexchange.com. They do custom installs and can supply everything from the locomotive to the sound system. From everything I've read, they do good work at reasonable prices. All the guys who work there are model railroaders so they've learned a lot making mistakes on their own equipment.

Is there any other way to learn?

Never depend on e-mail. Give them a call to follow up. Sometimes e-mail gets lost in the ether so the other party never gets it. They are nice guys in person and my dealings with them have been very good. Litchfield Station is a similar DCC specialist so you might contact them as well as Tony's for a price comparison.

KBK, no, I've always learned more from my mistakes than what I've done right. The point I was trying to make is that they've made a lot of their learning mistakes on their own equipment so they are less likely to make the mistakes on yours.

EMail me at MGWSY@aol.com and I might be able to help you out as I do Decoder installs and can get DCC stuff from Digitrax, Locsound, NCE, MRC, TCS for 30% - 40% off retail beating any shops price out there.
