Yes you can. The only difference between the snoot and a regular 40-2 is the porches. If it's a snoot, it'll have a shorter front porch. Here's an example where you can see the difference. The green one is a standard 40-2, the maroon one is a snoot nose.

Well technically the front porch remains the same length, the snoot just has a bigger nose!
