I'll be installing my RPS-MRR System today. This should give me a pseudo GPS system for my model railroad. :D

I saw it at the National Train Show the past two years and became very interested in it. I installed the transponder in a car last night by creating wipers to the axles and making sure alternate wheels were isolated from the track. It looks like a very well-thought out system.
 
I looked at those and, although the idea is pretty neat, the total cost is out of my price range. I'll be interested to hear how well the system works on your layout.
