I recently bought a pair of Roundhouse reefer boxcar kits at a local train show. When I got around to building them both of them did not have the screws to attach couplers and trucks.

Was this normal with Roundhouse kits? The instructions did say what size screw to use, so I was able to buy some at the LHS, but it was a bit of a hassle fiding them since they are too small for Home Depot or Lowe's to carry, and many Local hobby stores don't carry small hardware parts either.

I manily want to know incase I run across more in the future so that I will know whether to expcet the screws to be in the box or not.

normally the roundhouse kits come with the screws, or at least all of mine have.

Yes, they should have had screws, since that's also how the frame was attached to the shell. The screws are all 2-56 with the truck screw longer and the coupler box screw short.
