I'm working an elevator into my layout specifically to model this little fella if I can find a reasonably priced steeple cab to bash in HO.

Not my video, I'll be posting pics I took last month later, planning on a another trip during harvest so I can shoot 1000 or so photos.

As i understand it, this is the last fully functional commercial electric freight line in the country

some photos I took a few weeks back, not running that day unfortunately.

That train runs 3 blocks from My house here in Mason City. Always a treat to see it work. I know the conductor personally he's a good friend of mine. That railroad employs a handful of guys. We service these guys also with pick up and delivery of cars from their line. It really is a neat little railroad.

Try this as a starting point: http://www.mrrwarehouse.com/MRW-Made/steeple.htm

Uses the 44 tonner mechanism I believe from Bachmann.
