Well I have got the rockwork done for the most part.. I can now lay roadbed & track, and connect the old and the new..I can also now finsih cla,ping the track sections together.. and install the trestle once I finish the last 5 bents

That's good news! I must tell you that losing your posts was one of my biggest disappointments resulting from the crash. PLEASE re-post some of the pictures and descriptions of your marvelous layout.
Do I recall correctly that your extensive layout is track-powered? If not, are you using the clamps to provide stabilization against temperature fluctuations rather than electrical continuity?
