It seems like forever ago that Rock Ridge Canyon was conceived but now it is reality. The North Wall has been plunked down by the "Creator" of all things Train City and Pixie, Dixie, Espy, and Dark will be coming through the canyon, instead of "Comin Round the Mountain."

Well finally, I have the pitures. For the first time since late October, I have structures on the layout. The difference since then...no more plywood. I still have a lot of landscaping to do and many structures to build and restore.
Here is, after all the hoopla, Rock Ridge Canyon. The loco is my son's 2-8-0, Dixie.
None of the terraforming happened this weekend (except in my garden.) Actually the trees were planted about two plus weeks ago. The last two weeks I've been painting an IHC church. This church has taken longer to paint than any other structure I've done so far. Hopefully I'll post pictures next week.
