V&AL

I've got a UP 3985 Challenger (Rivarossi) with a coal tender. I want to upgrade it to the present day oil tender. I'd also like to try to get the aux tender for it, but the only one's I can find are abotu $100 (for the Athearn turbines...)

so: is there a conversion kit for the coal-oil tender? and is there a cheaper way to get an aux. tender without shelling out $100?

Thanks y'all!!

I haven't heard of any conversion kits. The change from coal to oil involved some pretty major changes to the tender, including lengthening the tender and changing the tgrucks from Buckeye's to the centipede trucks used now. It would be a major scratch building job. An inexpensive starting point for both the oil and auxillary tender would be using one from a Revell Big Boy kit.
