I figure you may know this one grande man... I'm wondering what color the Rio Grande would have used inside it's late model diesel locomotives. I know a lot of older locomotives were a sort of pea green, and I have also seen some interior shots where everything was a sort of cream or yellowy-white. None of these pictures were of Rio Grande units though...
I'm leaning towards the cream right now...

Hi Chris. The late model cab interiors were grey. Check your PM for the number of the restoration folks at the Colorado RR Museum. I'm sure they can tell you the exact color.
I've seen many colors, it seems early models were that pea green, then beige/tan/cream, and a primer grey, now I see images with a more brown color too.
