aafter an absence of about 15 years i am making a return to the hobby. I do however have a question i need help with. my layout will be an exteremly tightly folded dogbone ( n scale, 2x4, urban setting, inside a coffee table). just a simple loop, no sidings. i have decided to go with flextrack so i can use a 10" radius. the grades are still steep but i like the way it all lays out. my plans were to use pink foam, built up in layers as a layout AND scenery base. does anyone have a recomendation for attaching the track to the foam?

Yep, get the cheapest adhesive latex caulk you can at Wallyworld. Just make sure is says it's safe for foam, but all the latex I've used has never given me a problem. Spread it on very thin, apply the subroadbed, add some weights like books, once it's lined up, and let it dry. Repeat with the track. You may have to use a few track nail on the cuves to keep them aligned but you can pull them when the glue is dry. You can also use the latex caulk for laminating the foam when you're making your hills. On a layout the size of yours, one or two $2 tubes should be all you need.
