Retrofit a Blueline steam engine?

Can you retrofit a Blueline steam engine to produce steam like the Paragon2 versions?

While smoking locomotives look cool...for about 15 minutes, the oil ends up all over your layout, smells, and gunks up the loco. Efficient locos don't smoke. You can get smoke machines that will fit into the boiler, but the chugging aspect is more complex.
