Removing axle trucks?

How can I remove the axle trucks on my cheap cars?
They are not screwed on.
I want to paint some them.

Do you happen to have photos? There's two general ways trucks are attached. Screw, or friction pin. Older, toy train style cars, with the coupler pocket attached to the truck (talgo style) use a friction pin built into the top of the truck, they should just pry off.

They have the friction pin.
