Hi Everyone
I designed my layout as a single deck with a double main line. Then when I added the second deck I decided it would only be a single main because the helix would have only two tracks, one for up and one for down. Now I changed my mind. When our club meets at my house once a month we run four trains at once and we need the second deck to handle more than one train at a time. It's time for a redesign. The temporary plywood bridge that was going to be in the future a steel viaduct now has to handle two tracks. It will have to become a concrete viaduct. In the photos below I'm just getting some ideas on how I'm going about the project with some cardboard, plastic, wood and tape. It looks bad now but should look OK after the 3 foot curved concrete viaduct is finished.
