Hi !

I buy the kit of RDA - Delaney Iron Works.

I find them beautifull, i have start to built them but like it's about my first building project i would like to see if i can have some help , specially forthe paint.

You can see the product at :

http://railwaydesign.com/component/virtuemart/details/43/13/structures/delaney-iron-works

The picture are not so big and it's not easy to see the right color. THe weathering look like beautifull and i would like to try to make about the same thing.

I must know the best paint to use, the color and some tips.

Any help ?

Thanks !

If it's the same as the old Ertl version, it should be a hydrocal (plaster) kit. I'd recommend using a good spray primer, or using some of the artists acrylics you can get cheap at Wal*mart.

I never built mine, though mine is the older Ertl version (RDA branched off from Ertl, the Ertl kits are the same as the RDA kits). It's been sitting in a box now for about 6 years.
