Railflyer has the hood components available for pre-order. There is a very detailed pdf file for download that explains their design philosophy. Very good stuff.
 
Can't wait to order mine for the SD40-2 and GP38-2B (2nd of which still needs just about everything else).

Thanks for the comments.

As of today the SD40-2 Hood Module plastic components are ready for tooling so we're going into the funding and product release stage of the project. I already have the rear numberboard gaskets for this release in stock! They are clear laser cut 0.005" Mylar plastic.

Guys keep saying they are on the fence on this project but the worst is behind us in terms of development and releasing the components. I am firming up a Fall release date for this version of hood kit and as a bonus the HTC truck based drive. A Blomberg and GP38-2 / GP40-2 based hood will follow this initial variant.

All your support and help have paid off.
