Me again, Hey what do they call the rail repair train you see once in a blue moon next to the mail lines. The thing lights up the night !! Do they make a HO Scale car you can build or buy ? Thanks all:cool:

It would be a rail grinding train. They grind down the tops of the rails so they are correctly shaped. Most of these trains are custom built for the firms (Loram, etc.), and are of no standard design. I've never heard of models being offered, but I could be wrong. Perhaps if you do a Google search on "rail grinding train", and the same with "model" at the end you might get some info.

Check out Custom Finishes, they make the largest selection of MOW stuff in HO, but I doubt anyone has a grinding train.
