csx sd40-2 z scale locomotive needs what curved radius track? is R195-45 ok ? Noch, Rokuhan, Micro-Mark?
Wide as you can fit in the given space..But do know that the very longest rigid frame engines, especially those with swiveling trucks (diesels/traction) can and have to go through most yard and roundhouse track or they wouldn't exist...Is this Z scale ? Ouch !!
Usually the mfg'r will say minimum radius on the instructions,
Best I can say is take a length of flex and experiment with it.
I really know very little of Z scale. Heck, I can hardly see it!
