Hello all, I am planning to start a layout before long, and was thinking a bit ahead. I really want to include these Walthers crossing signals:

I have the Bachmann DCC power pack thing:

I'm not sure if I will use that or a standard DCC controller.

Anyway, to my question. Is there a detection unit out there for DCC that is easily compatible for these signals? I know there is one for DC, but again, I'm not 100% sure if I want to go DC. Thanks!

The signals themselves are fine but do not use the Walthers detection unit if you're going to be using DCC. DCC current will blow up the detection unit and may damage your DCC controller as well. I like the Circuitron line of detectors and flasher units. They will operate with DC or DCC
