I apreciate that, LoudMusic.

Mostly track work, filling in cross ties and correcting some of the color on things that just didn't turn out right--learn as you go.

For trees, nandina and a type I am not sure of, they grow in the wild here and in the springtime their new shoots are nice to use, just spray them with glue and in a loose bag shake ground foam onto them, then remove off excess.

Not a big room, but all I had. It is an under and over with an inner loop. I put the largest grade in the tunnel--out of sight out of mind. Hated to, but to have the pattern I wanted I had to use 18 inch curves in some areas.

Much of the "rock" is real. Limestone I got from a river bed, the camera doesn't show much detail I am afraid on that. I just blended it in with plaster and paint, some stain as well.

In the yard I was going to go with under the table switch machines but a 2x2 runs below most of them.

The wiring underneath NASA would not be proud of, a real rats nest, but it works, whole thing took a couple of years to build, but a lot of that time I cheated and ran trains instead. Still a lot of fun, not as good as a lot of the setups I see you guys have made. Real masterpieces.

My son-in-law has a good camera, will try to get him to take more detailed pictures next time he is over.

You might be surprised what passes for good wiring at NASA ... ;) And detailed pictures are much anticipated!

Thanks to all of you.

I don't have a track layout plan to post, but from the yard, going right, it goes into a sharp left curve into a tunnel, coming out about the middle of the picture in back, then a left 180 across the trussel, slight right hand curve then some straight, across a smaller trussel (over the inner loop), then a left downgrade back into the yard. The large over and under loop has one siding, seen on the very left.

The inner loop is bascially an oval within the larger one with 2 sidings, one to the depot and the other that forks going to the warehouse and the sand/fuel area.

Looks good, nice managable size. Some people bite off more than they can chew and never get that far.

Quite true. Reaching for the stars and wind up grabbing a light bulb as the saying goes.

It keeps me quite busy, large enough to enjoy yet not too large to be a burden.

I'll try to get a higher angle pic, birds eye view so to speak to give a better idea of the track layout.
