First, are the two contests currently 'in session' extended, or will they be closed off soon and voting started?

Secondly, we are a full week into February with no announcement yet of the theme.

Just wondering what's up.

It's a lot of work (having run it for a long time over on RRF myself) but if anyone would like to step up, I'm sure Bob (and a lot of other folks) would appreciate the effort.

It isn't difficult at all, it just takes a bit of time and discipline.
