I have a set of early Athearn streamline passenger cars RPO, Vista Dome, Observation with Santa Fe road name. What type of operational diaphrams would you recommend for between the cars? There are many different manufacturer's and styles need help. I'm very new to the hobby and was hoping for some input from the more seasoned hobbiests
For these Athearn cars, I would recommend the diaphragms made by American Limited.
Here is a link to their website page of diaphragms:
American Limited
You need gray diaphragms for Santa Fe lightweight cars.
Product number (9000) for two gray diaphragms or enough to do one car.
Product number (9006) for twelve gray diaphragms or enough to do six cars.
Here's an online vendor I've used in the past and they have both of these in stock at really good prices:
Product Number 9000
Product Number 9006
