Hello John,

I live in the Netherlands , so on the other side of the great pond and this plant does not grow overhere....maybe try to look at stores where they sell artificial plants and watch carefuly to the texture of many grasslooking or small leaves plants...
May be this one??: (did find it within one minute!)

you have to loose the plants carefuly one by one but I think they will look great when painted with matt colors of course
