Has anyone installed a decoder on a P2K GP38-2 recently? I have read somewhere that P2K has installed some wires backwards or something on their GP38-2's (only???) and if you install the decoder as you would normally, it is programable, but when you put it on the mainline it will destroy the decoder? Is this true? I really need to know, because I don't get to run trains very often, and today is that day to go to the club. If it is true, can someone put it for me in "stupid people that can't even install batteries without shocking themselves because they suck so bad at electronics" terms for me? LOL! (Ok, maybe not THAT bad...) Thanks!
