...where do you find quality used rolling stock, locomotives, building ect. Train shows around here only come up once or twice a year.
 
Various forums that I am on have been rather fruitful when it comes to this and have gotten some good deals. Also if you have "pennysaver" type of flyer you can find some deals on people trying to get rid of stuff for good prices and at least with those you can usually see them first hand before you hand over your cash.
 


I agree with Josh on PreOwnedTrains. There's not always the variety that you'd find at a hobby shop but there are some really nice things, usually at reasonable prices and the shipping is on $6.00 for up to 20 items. For example, there's a custom painted and decaled PFE ice reefer that looks like a really good job available for $10.50 right now.
