Building track for Lionel Super Chief 2343 1953 model - passenger cars are long - what diameter curve do I need to keep all 4 from derailing ??

O42 should work with no problem. They were meant to go around some pretty tight curves, though they make look strange from above while doing it.

I once ran them on 031 with no problem ... Like bnsf971 said:
they don;t look great, but they will run all day!
Are these the extruded aluminium, or the "red" heavyweight version?
I had both.
