Yes, I'd love to see something like that on a BNSF unit, out in Colorado. As for a model, I'd like one in an older unit, F7 or GP7/9, as I have 18" radius curves on my layout. Era-wise, that wouldn't be very likely, as I model the post-WWII era, and there wasn't any need to "honor" veterans. Everyone honored them anyway!

NS SD60e Veteran paint sceme

I received an e-mail today from Overland Hobbies stating a release of that loco in that paint scheme by Overland Models in 2014. Hopefully someone else will do it cheaper !
