on this one. Caught this car in the yard waiting for the steel gang to clear up. I took this pick primarily for anybody doing heavy weathering. Unfortunately I don't have a pic of the top. The FURX reporting marks look almost as weathered as the West Central. Build date, 2-80
Most of my ore cars that are weathered are rust buckets. They have seen hard use and never been washed, other than standing in the rain and snow. I like lightly weathered rolling stock, but tend to be on the heavy side when weathering.
A beat up ALCO pushing two weathered ore cars. The ore cars started out as undecorated, but were weathered, added metal wheels and KD couplers, installed a Chooch ore load and covered the load with Woodland Scenics ore. The weathering is chalk from AIM.
