Got an email from Athearn on Thursday. It didn't say whether he (Larry) observed the sound. Only said he cleaned grease off of trucks and it performed normally so they sent it back to me. I wonder if he's referring to the oil I put on the truck gears? I oiled them after the sound was present! Does this sound like a fix to that sound?

It's expected tomorrow so I'll update again after I test it out. I'm very impressed with how quickly they got it back to me once serviced :). I hope it's squared away 🤞🫣. What do you all think?

Think the proof of if its fixed is whether the noise comes back or not, a few hours running should confirm.
