My dad gave me some old Lionel trains with some track and I want to put them up for the holidays. I beleive they are O gauge and the track is the old tubular style track where they connect together with the 3 prongs.

I'm building a platform that will basically be a 4x7 sheet of plywood. I want to run both trains on this some platform with 2 loops (an outer loop and an inner loop).

I know this is a very basic setup, but does any one have any diagrams (or links on the web to diagrams) on how to set something like this up?

I have the following types of track:
straight
curves
shorter straights
shorter curves

Seems like I'm having problems trying to make nice 90 degree bends where everything lines up nice.

Thanks for the help

Carl
