I've enjoyed reading this forum for some time, and recently registered. I am getting back into HO trains and am amazed at how far things have come since I first "played trains"! This board is full of great information and ideas and I have followed along with many modelers on many great layouts. Much gratitude goes out to those who have shared their ideas and posted progress photos. I will try to post my plan for a layout in my basement for everyone's consideration and thoughts. I'd like to incorporate mountain scenery and purposeful industry in the design, which is 1sq =1ft on the RTS program.
