Hi all,
Relatively new railroader to the hobby. Always had a G Scale train running around the Christmas tree but have lately been selling off my collection to something more storage friendly (thought backyard railroad plans are a distant dream). For now, I'm starting up an On30 Scale railroad - the basic sets caught my attention in the hobby shop and the narrow gauge/Colorado railroads are a favorite so this is a good excuse to learn up on soldering, wiring, electronics, tracks, gauges, sculptamold and everything in between. Got a layout designed and have already begun construction on the first of three panels, 6.5ft. wide railroad. Hi all!
