Train Fanatic
Hi all,
For those who don't know me from one of the other MR Forums, I'm Norm Wolf. I am livin' in the middle of American History (aka, Fredericksburg, VA). I have been a life long train fanatic, but got back in to Model Railroading in late 2005, after trying to 'fill the gap' with tabletop wargaming (didn't work the best, but it was a hobby! ;) ).

I am presently modeling the Richmond, Fredericksburg, & Potomac (RF&P), circa 1980, at a very specific location, Doswell, VA (in Hanover County), where it crosses the C&O's Piedmont Sub-Division. It's had it's busy times in the past (especially prior to the CSX Merger and absorption of the RF&P in Oct '91) and I like the idea of an interchange between to railroads, for operational interest.

Looking forward to perusing the forum threads and learnin' much from all.

B/r,
Norm

Hi Norm, WELCOME ABOARD. Out of all of the Model RR Forums this one is the Best of the Best. You will be able to get anykind of question answered about trains on this forum. We are family.
Please post lots of pictures of your layout. We thrive on new unseen layouts.
Been in this hobby for over 50 years & I always enjoy other peoples layouts.

Welcome Norm! Larry said it, this is the place to be. No attitudes, friendly people and good information. We love pictures, looking forward to seeing your work.

Thanks guys! I'm usually the one doing the welcoming on Jimmy Deignan's KitForums (www.mrrforums.com), as his "unofficial forum bridge troll"!

I'll try to post up some pixes of my attempts at frieght car weathering, layout work, etc. over the coming days... off to work (I hate it when life gets in the way of your hobbies!) ;)

R/,
Norm
