New here from Canada

Welcome and glad to have you hear.
This is a great site with many helpful people.
Check out that Forum posted above.

I see that you are a CN fan do you model them also.
I live right behind the mainline to Green Bay WI.
I am about 60 to 70 yards from the tracks.
In a 24 hour period we see about 10 to 12 trains-counting the locals.

Yes, I do model them - GP9, SD40-2, GP38, SD75i.

I am envious of your location. The only traffic I see regularly is GO Transit.

Welcome from a fellow Canuck living on the wet coast.

Roy

Thanks Roy.
I was out in B.C. a few years ago. We flew out to Vancouver and took the Canadian to Jasper. What an EXCELLENT trip that is. There is so much CN traffic in Jasper.

The 5739 in my avatar was in my town one day - which is VERY unusual for my town.

I stopped by to take an up close look at the diesel and was invited up into the cab by the Engineer. We talked for about 30 minutes in the cab. Turns out he was there to film a safety video for CN.

Hi, I too have CN and CP locomotives. I'd like to add some short line locos also, like the Quebec & Gatineau just to get away from the red colour schemes a bit. Via would be good too.
I used to model in HO but now I am starting out in N-scale.

Have a nice weekend.

Hi and welcome from another left coaster...Vancouver Island.

The only CP stuff I have at the moment, or related back when, is a TH&B Hudson purchased surplus from the New York Central, a small SW8 switcher diesel, and soon to be a first ever brass (for me) Selkirk 2-10-4 from Sunset Models. I also have some modern smooth-side passenger cars for the Selkirk.

I hope you enjoy yourself here. :)
