I bought this great little 2-8-0. It is a bachmann spectrum series unit. It has dcc on board but, i would very much like to have sound added to it. Also needs just a little service. Can someone direct me to a service/install source? Thanks!!
If you were on the East Coast, I could probably help you. Don't know of any source on your coast. I have one similar to yours with a Tsumani Decoder in it and it runs well.
I have the same 2-8-0 with a factory tsunami small steam. If you can work a soldering iron you can put a 8 pin plug on the decoder and it should plug into the factory socket. solder a speaker to the other 2 wires and you have sound .
