FYI,

It appears that NCE has now released it's new PowerCab SB3 Smart Booster. The new Smart Booster is a full five amps. While NCE doesn't show it on their website, Tony's Train Exchange is now selling them for $127.96.

Ah! now that's good news, seems my supplier couldn't get me one from anywhere. Guess I'm going to have to pay a bit more but with 5 amps, I'll be able to run a few BB Athearns with that. Thanks for posting the info.

Just checked it out at Tony's looks like they fixed it to work with auto reversers also, not sure of what they mean by 6 recalls but I guess that's a good improvement too.

Well I ordered the Magna Force 615 power supply tonight as it was available and it was at a decent price $51.85 Cdn. postage and tax included. Not going to be around long for that price. More than likely these will be in short supply soon as the sales for the 5 amp Smart booster gain momentum.
Tomorrow I'll get after them to get me a smart booster.
