You guys are gonna get tired of talking to me but I do have another question. I would like some info on uncouplers. I am currently doing all the roadbed work and figured that if I want to add under track magnets I should do it now. Anyway the question is do I use under track permanent magnets or the Kadee electric magnets (#309)? I would like to be as hands free as possible but using a skewer sometimes would be fine. I am just not sure as to when to use permanent magnets (ie. in yards etc.). Placement is a question as well. Any help would be great thanks again

Generally you want to put the under the track magnets on deadend sidings. Usually electro magnets are used on mainlines where train will go over them and not be uncoupled. Can you post a track plan?
Ok here is my track plan I hope you can make it out thanks again
