I was wondering which turntable is the best for an N-Scale layout. Can I also mix Atlas code-55 with a say a Peco TT. What are my limitations.
Thanks, John
I have a Fleischmann turntable, which works for 30 years now without any problems, and I like it. But don't know, whether it goes with a code 55 track, and how it will look on a layout, which is not a "German scenery" (like mine).
Regards
I imagine you can mix code 55 with just about anything. You might run into issues if the table is in code 80 and the bridge track is permanently attached, but you could just shim up the code 55 ends (or sink the table) to make everything line up. I had a Walthers turntable kit (buggered it unfortunately) which didn't even come with track and would accept whatever you wanted to put there.
