3. Any European style locomotives/rolling stock that is American N scale? I understand our N scale is different than Europes. Any links to applicable sites would be appreciated.
I think you may be thinking of scale 1 on 148, also called N scale, but it's not really a European scale, its used only in the UK, and even there not much.

there is also a Japanese version of N scale which is in 1 on 150, as most of japan's railways are narrow gauge, kato does make some 1 on 160 models but those are mostly bullet trains ("Shinkansen") as those trains are normal gauge.

also a bit confusing is that there is no H0n3-1/2 in Europe, but only because it has a other name, mainly H0m.
but note that that only refers to H0n3-1/2 (12mm), the scale H0n3 (10.5mm) is not used in Europe at all.

so there are two other forms of N scale but unless you buy anything from the UK or japan it's not likely one of those scales.

Try newrailwaymodellers.co.uk they have a forum that includes N scale.
Ebay UK also has alot listed in n scale.
Bachmann has a seperate site under Bachmann UK with n scale listed and same type of service/parts sheets PFD's as the US.
