Hey everyone,

I've been detailing one of my favourite "kitbash" projects. Though to be honest, it's less of a kitbash, and more of just combining kits.

I used the Sunrise Feed Mill and a grain elevator kit (both Walthers) and painted them to match. I painted them with a brush, using Tamiya acrylic paints. I'm a big fan of Tamiya. Their colours and paint seem to complement railside structures nicely.

The models did seem a little too 'new', though. So I used copper-coloured paint to detail small rust streaks on parts of the models, and then used Tamiya weathering powders to age the roof and structure sides.

I think the buildings look pretty good so far.

Very nice! Well done, and the weathering looks good, it has a subtle effect that makes it much more realistic.
