N Scale Couplers and truck brands???

At the risk of starting a "Chevy vs Ford" argument what is the go-to brand of couplers and trucks for N-Scalers?

I've already got three Kato locos, and about a dozen cars. Most of the rolling stock is Scale Trains, with some Atlas and other brands. I figure I'd better start standardizing now, before I expand the fleet too much.

I do not model N scale, but this is what I learned several years ago. The best N scale coupler is the Micro Trains magnetic couplers. They are compatible with Atlas, Bachmann, Athearn, Kato and Intermountain. My research was before Scale Trains. However Micro Trains magnetic couplers are not compatible with their own non magnetic scale couplers. Set up some test track and do your own comparison with Scale Trains and your existing Atlas and Kato products. Just a piece of flex track that doesn't even have to have power - use your hands for power.

Standardize on Micro Trains.
If you get something with Rapido couplers, swap them for MTs.
When the Brand X couplers fail, replace them with MTs.
